I even reviewed my photography book to review the proper camera settings for shooting fireworks the night before.
Alas, the weather wasn&#8217;t cooperating. It never stopped raining once darkness fell.

<p>When I stepped out of the building, I saw that the sprinklers by my car were on. I didn&#8217;t know how much longer they&#8217;d be going, so I tried to take as many pictures as I could. I had to dodge water a few times when the other spouts pointed my way.</p>
<p>I was shooting blind (holding the camera close to the ground) and hoped that I would get lucky with a well focused shot, but alas, it didn&#8217;t happen.</p>
