This is one of many artistic structures near the local library. It was a bright, sunny day, and there was a gentle breeze animating the sculpture.

Day 178: Colorul Moving Sculpture
Sunday, June 27th, 2010Day 177: Empty Restaurant Tables
Saturday, June 26th, 2010My wife and I were out about to do groceries. We thought it would be good to eat first so we don’t end up putting too much food in the cart (which always seems to happen if we shop hungry).
The place we ate at wasn’t exactly empty, but this little corner of it was. I thought the scene might make a decent black and white photo.
Day 176: Window Washer
Friday, June 25th, 2010A window washer was working on the windows of our building, which is mostly glass outside.
It was interesting to watch. He had a bruth on a really long pole, and it let out . I took this photo from my office on the third floor. It was brighter outside than inside so he couldn’t see me, but it wasn’t that bright outside, really. It had started to rain.

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010Day 166: Butterfly (and its Tongue)
Tuesday, June 15th, 2010I’ve been seeing this tiny butterfly hanging out on the tables at the back of the office for a few days already, but I never had my camera with me. This time, I did.
It’s actually quite colorful when it opens its wings, where the patters are. Its wings’ underside looks pretty drab, making me initially think that it might have been a moth, but I don’t think moths need a tongue that long.
