Another day with no photo for the day by the time I got home.
I ransacked my spice drawers and found a bag of star anise. They’re all dry and brittle, and most of them were broken from having been stuffed in and out of drawers too often.
This one isn’t symmetric, but it’s the only one that was still whole.
