Having crab apple trees in bloom everywhere has been wonderful for my Project 365. This is the 3rd time I’m making it a photo subject.
This time, it’s one growing in front of the office. Taken about half an hour before sunset.

I just noticed that the office plant from day 33’s Dying Flower was no longer around, and has been replaced with this baby one.
I think the focus is a little off, but it’s the end of the day and I had no other alternative shots, so this will have to do for today.

Day 117: Sunset Goose

I went out of the office building and was greeted by a strange sight: Two geese wandering nonchalantly on the parking lot. They turned the heads of people going in and out of the building.
I quickly ran back up to get my camera and telephoto lens.
Day 116: Soy Sauce

Had lunch at a local Asian fusion restaurant. This was one of their ceramic soy sauce containers.

My wife’s wedding bouquet (still fresh as a result of its residence in the fridge). I put it under the shadows cast by the dining area vertical blinds and mid-afternoon sun.

My wife and I went out to have breakfast at Denny’s, where we encountered yet another Crab Apple tree in bloom.
I thought I’d make a repeat subject, since this one had its blossoms just over my head and the bright blue sky as a backdrop.
Day 113: Ashtray in Rain

It’s been raining a lot, and water’s accumulated in the ashtrays at the back of the office.
Day 112: Oil in Rain

It rained today. In between downpours, I noticed oil on the parking lot before it was completely washed away. It was a little dull, but I thought I’d be able to manipulate the image in post-processing to make the color bands more stark.
I guess now it looks a little unnatural, but there was no other way I could make it look interesting, and I have no other shots for the day, so this will have to do.

More signs of spring, this time a baby rabbit. It lives in the bushes at the back of the office.
